Disclaimer of Warranty

Dual Degrees is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app’s performance, reliability, or the accuracy of its content. Your use of the app and its content is entirely at your own risk.

The developer does not warrant that:

• The app will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
• Any defects will be corrected.
• The app or its servers are free of viruses or harmful components.
• The app's data (including weather data) will always meet your expectations or requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability,
• Fitness for a particular purpose,
• And non-infringement.

This disclaimer does not affect any rights or warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

In-App Purchases and Donations

Dual Degrees offers optional in-app purchases that are designed as voluntary donations to support the continued development and maintenance of the app. These purchases are:

• Completely voluntary and not required to use any core features of the app
• Non-refundable once purchased
• Considered donations to support development efforts

If you purchase through the Apple App Store, these in-app purchases are subject to both these terms and conditions and Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Apple's terms may include additional provisions regarding refunds, payment processing, and dispute resolution that apply to your purchase.

For Apple App Store purchases specifically, you acknowledge that:

• Apple's payment processing and refund policies apply
• Apple's Terms of Service govern the transaction relationship
• Disputes regarding payment processing may be handled according to Apple's policies

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, you agree to hold the developer harmless for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that may arise from using the app. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Legal fees,
• Loss of data or profits,
• Device malfunctions,
• Or third-party service outages (e.g., weather data providers).

If liability is found on the part of the developer, it will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the app or its services. Some jurisdictions may not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Privacy Policy

Dual Degrees uses Google’s Firebase for analytics to help improve app performance and user experience.

What we collect:

• Anonymous usage data,
• Location data (used strictly for weather features and analytics).

What we don’t do:

• We do not sell your data,
• We do not use your information for advertising or commercial profiling.

All data handling follows Google’s Firebase Privacy Policy.

This policy may be updated in the future as new features are introduced. Any significant changes will be noted in the app or via update notes.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.
